I started a business y’all πŸ₯‚πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎ

So those of you who follow me know that the last part of 2021 was rough for me professionally and 2022 started with lots of unexpected changes.

So I decided to pivot in 2022 and start an educational consulting business. I decided to take my passion and love for mental health awareness and consent to start Weekes Enterprise, LLC.   Through this business I can continue to be part of the community that is working to normalize going to therapy and discussing mental health. I will provide workshops for counselors, educators and students to equip them with the tools to have mental health, consent, and boundaries conversations.

The logo is extra special to me because it is created from a picture from last summer of me and my Gran holding hands. Gran lives in Barbados and she just turned 93 and she is one of my reasons for working so hard and caring so deeply about my students. I decided to name my business Weekes Enterprise because it is my mother’s last name and I wanted to honor her. I wanted to honor her sacrifice as a single parent, her unending love and support and the lessons I learned from her. Mummy taught me about faith and the spirit and practice of generosity which is the core of who I am as person and especially as a Counselor.

The workshops that will be offered are:

*Mental Health Awareness

*Building Safe Environments Consent Series

*Navigating Boundaries

*Positive Self Talk (Affirmations)

If you are interested in any of these workshops please click here to go to the Weekes Enterprise, LLC website and contact me. WE look forward to working with you.
